Summary
Ultimate Kanban is a personal task app with a To Do list and a durable Kanban board. Tasks, notes, sections, and settings are stored on your device. If you sign in, optional account and workspace sync use Supabase. If you subscribe to Ultimate Kanban Pro, RevenueCat and Apple or Google Play process purchase data so we can unlock the app. Connect AI uses the same account over a public MCP endpoint; AI providers you connect are separate controllers. Import/Export writes JSON backups through your device’s share sheet; the app does not upload them to k-level servers. No microphone in the current release. No third-party analytics SDK.
1. Data we store on your device
The app persists data using on-device storage (AsyncStorage via Zustand). This includes:
- Task titles, notes, Importance/Urgency, Habit/Scheduled flags, and section membership
- Kanban board membership and column status
- Optional section (bucket) titles and order
- App settings (theme, WIP limits, Clear Done, notification preferences, UI preferences)
This data stays on your phone unless you export it, sync it after sign-in, use Settings → Danger Zone, uninstall the app, or clear app storage. Older installs may still hold residual data from previous app versions; the current release does not expose those surfaces.
2. Subscriptions (RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play)
Ultimate Kanban uses a Pro subscription gate. Apple App Store or Google Play process payment and manage billing. RevenueCat relays purchase/entitlement status so the app can unlock Pro. We do not receive your full payment card details. Those parties process data under their own privacy policies.
3. Optional account and cloud sync (Supabase)
When you create or sign in to an account (email, Apple, or Google where available), Supabase processes authentication identifiers and workspace sync may upload a private snapshot of your local app data so the same account can restore it on another device (last-write-wins). If you never sign in, task data remains local-only.
4. Network and Connect AI (MCP)
The app may use the network for subscription purchase/restore (Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat), account sign-in and workspace sync (Supabase), and Connect AI (public MCP on ultimate-kanban.mcp.k-level.xyz). When you connect an AI client, you authenticate with your Ultimate Kanban account; that client then reads and updates tasks under your account. The AI provider you choose is a separate controller under its own policy. No microphone is used on the live path.
5. Notifications (optional)
If you enable Notifications in Settings, the app schedules local reminders on your device (no push notification server operated by k-level):
Notifications are opt-in and can be disabled in the app or system settings.
6. Import and export
Settings → Import / Export lets you save or restore a JSON backup via your device’s share sheet or file picker. The app does not send backups to k-level servers.
7. Analytics and crash reporting
The current release does not include third-party analytics or crash reporting SDKs.
8. Children
Ultimate Kanban is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your choices and rights
- Use Import/Export in Settings for local backups
- Disable notifications in app Settings
- Sign out or delete account data via Settings → Danger Zone where offered
- Delete local data by uninstalling or clearing app storage
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple / Google account settings
- Where GDPR applies: request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection via privacy@k-level.xyz; you may complain to a supervisory authority
10. Changes
We may update this policy when the product changes. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Material changes that introduce new processors will be reflected here before those features go live.
